"Sosialisasi empat pilar bangsa ini memang menjadi tugas MPR-RI agar masyarakat mengetahui ideologi negara dan sosialisasi kali ini dilakukan dalam masa reses I pada pemerintahan baru," katanya di Padang Aro.

Menurut dia, sosialisasi yang diberikan ini lebih kepada perhatian terhadap masyarakat luas karena sejak zaman reformasi perhatian ini sudah mulai berkurang sehingga banyak masyarakat yang sudah mulai lupa dengan ideologi negara.

"Jika perhatian berkurang maka implementasi tentang ideologi negara di lingkungan masyarakat juga tidak maksimal sehingga sosialisasi ini perlu dilakukan," jelasnya.

Hal ini, katanya, bukan berarti masyarakat tidak mengetahui empat pilar bangsa tersebut. Hanya saja banyak yang sudah hampir melupakannya sehingga banyak terjadi penyimpangan perilaku di tengah kehidupan sehari-hari.

Akan tetapi, sebutnya, sosialisasi perlu dilakukan karena terjadinya krisis multidimensi yang disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal.

Faktor internal yaitu karena pemahaman dan pengalaman nilai-nilai pancasila dan ajaran agama yang sempit serta lunturnya penghargaan terhaap kemajemukan serta terjadinya ketidak adilan dalam bidang pembangunan ekonomi, sosial, politik dan hukum dipusat maupaun daerah.

Sedangkan oleh faktor eksternal yaitu akibat globalisasi yang membawa persaingan antar bangsa yang semakin tajam serta kuatnya pengaruh budaya asing dan kurangnya sarana teknologi industri dalam perumusan kebijakan negara.

Empat pilar bangsa yang disosialisasikan yaitu Pancasila sebagai dasar dan ideologi negara, UUD Dasar RI Tahun 1945 sebagai konstitusi Negara, NKRI sebagai bentuk Negara serta Bhineka Tunggal Ika sebagai semboyan negara.

Mantan wakil Bupati Solok Selatan, Nurfirmanwansyah mengatakan bahwa Pancasila sebagai dasar dan ideologi negara diambil dari beberapa nilai yaitu keagamaan, budaya dan adat istiadat.

"Pancasila itu sudah mencakup semuanya karena sudah mempertimbangkan berbagai nilai yang hidup dan tumbuh di Indonesia," sebutnya.

Akan tetapi, tambahnya, nilai-nilai tersebut sudah mulai hilang karena sifat individu yang terlalu tinggi.

"Sekarang ini sifat gotong royong di lingkungan masyarakat sudah sangat minim karena lebih kepada individualis dan sifat ini bukanlah gambaran dari pancasila," katanya.

Oleh karena itu, ujarnya, sosialisasi empat pilar bangsa ini akan membawa dampak positif terhadap perilaku masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
